Section Football champions were crowned Friday night.

2-Nine Man-Red Rock Central scores three times in the 4th quarter to come from behind and defeat Wabasso 26 to 21.

3-Nine Man-Hills/Beaver Creek wins big over Edgerton 40 to 14.

2A-Lester Prairie breaks open a close game, scoring three times in second half to defeat GFW 30 to 6.

3A-Murray County Central used a solid ground attack and took advantage of some Springfield mistakes to defeat the Tigers 31 to 20.

2AA-Wateville/Elysian/Morristown edges Maple River 21 to 16.

3AA-Jackson County Central wins big, defeating Lesueur/Henderson 30 to 6.

2AAA-Holy Family Catholic was a 43 to 29 winner over Jordan.

3AAA-Waseca is heading to the State Tournament, with a 31 to 12 win over Luverne.

2AAAA-Marshall defeats Rocori 22 to 7.

Seeding meetings will be on Saturday, the Tournament begins next Thursday.

State Boy’s Soccer Champions were crowned!

Class A champion is Holy Angels. Holy Angels defeats St Cloud Cathedral 4 to 2.

The Double A Champion is Blake. The Bears shut out St Paul Como Park, 3 to nil.

College Volleyball:

Gustavus wins a conference match up over St Scholastica 3 to 0 and Mn-Morris defeats Martin Luther in straight sets in UMAC action.
