Semi Driver Seriously Injured in Crash South of Hutchinson

A semi driver was seriously injured in a crash south of Hutchinson this morning (Thursday).

The State Patrol says 58-year-old Jose Alvarez of Willmar was taken to HCMC in Minneapolis for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The Patrol says Alvarez was traveling eastbound on Airport Road when he lost control of the vehicle and it rolled just west of Highway 15.

The crash happened at about 7am.
