Severe Injuries Reported In Single Vehicle Crash

A Crookston area man was severely injured in a single vehicle accident Monday near Reynolds. 

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Richard Kangesier, (51) was injured when the southbound 2003 Chevrolet Suburban he was driving left I29 and struck a bridge pillar head on at mile marker 123 in Traill County. 

Kangesier was taken to Altru Hospital and treated for injuries described as “severe”. 

He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident reported just before 5pm. 

The crash remains under investigation.
