Severe Thunderstorms Possible in Minnesota
(Learfield News/Chanhassen, MN) — Forecasters say a couple rounds of thunderstorms today (Mon) could bring severe weather to Minnesota.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Mike Griesinger says the main threat will be late this afternoon and evening.
He says the greatest risk of severe storms will likely be in the southern half of the state, from Lake Mille Lacs on south.
Griesinger says there is the potential for tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds later today.
