Shaboozey Edges Out Sam Hunt For Record Weeks At #1

Shaboozey now has the longest #1 streak for a solo artist since the Hot Country Songs chart began in 1958.  “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has now spent 35 weeks at #1.

This breaks a tie with Sam Hunt’s song, “Body Like a Backroad” that was #1 for 34 weeks back in 2017.  Shaboozey now has the longest #1 streak for a solo artist since the chart began in 1958.

He has a long way to go if he wants the all-time record.  That was set by Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line for their song “Meant to Be” that was #1 for 50 weeks in 2017 and 2018.
