SHED, SEMI, FARM EQUIPMENT DESTROYED IN MEEKER COUNTY FIRE

Firefighters battled a large shed fire late Tuesday in Collinwood Township in Meeker County south of Dassel.  Authorities say the blaze started around 9:30 pm and quickly consumed the structure.  When crews arrived, the shed was fully engulfed.  The building, owned by 74-year-old Galen Carlson, housed farm equipment and a semi-truck loaded with corn.  Both the shed and its contents were declared total loss.  No injuries were reported and a cause is under investigation.
