SHERIFF’S OFFICE LIFTING VEHICLE RESTRICTIONS ON AREA LAKES

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is lifting restrictions on Sleepy Eye Lake and Lake Hanska.  As of 2 pm Wednesday, Sleepy Eye Lake is open to snowmobile and ATV/UTV traffic only.  Starting Friday at 1 pm, both Sleepy Eye Lake and Lake Hanska will be open to all vehicle traffic.  The sheriff’s office reminds you to always be careful on the ice as no ice is ever 100% safe.
