Shirley Pederson, age 74, of Gary, SD passed away surrounded by her family after battling cancer on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Hendricks Community Hospital Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, November 22nd at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gary, SD. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on Friday, November 21st at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gary with a prayer service at 7pm. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery in Gary, SD. Houseman Funeral Home-Birk Chapel in Canby, MN has been entrusted with the arrangements.
