SIBLEY COUNTY INVESTIGATING WOMAN’S DEATH
The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a woman Saturday in Kelso Township. Authorities say the incident happened near the intersection of 391st Avenue and 310th Street when 46-year-old Melissa Davidson of rural Le Sueur exited a vehicle driven by 48-year-old Jeremy Davidson of rural Henderson. The sheriff’s report says at some point Melissa was possibly struck by the vehicle. Law enforcement and first responders provided medical attention to Melissa. She was taken to a hospital where she died of her injuries. Jeremy was taken into custody and is being held at the Sibley County Jail. The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating the incident. Many area agencies from Henderson, Arlington, Winthrop, and Le Sueur assisted at the scene. No other details have been released.
