Sibley County Man Charged with Fatally Running Over Wife
(Learfield News/Gaylord, MN) — A south central Minnesota man is accused of intentionally running over his wife Saturday night in Sibley County.
Forty-eight-year-old Jeremy Davidson of rural Le Sueur is charged with criminal vehicular homicide in the death of 46-year-old Melissa Davidson.
He called law enforcement to report his wife jumped out of the truck and was run over. Melissa died in the hospital.
Deputies say Davidson smelled of alcohol but refused a preliminary breath test before his arrest.
The criminal complaint says a review of squad camera footage while Davidson was in the back seat captured him saying, “I just killed my wife dude” and “I am going to prison, she’s dead.”
He remains in the Sibley County jail.
