SIBLEY EAST TO HOLD MEETINGS REGARDING UPCOMING REFERENDUM

Sibley East Schools are holding the first of two informational meetings tonight (Monday) for residents to learn more about the operating referendum election November 4.  The meeting tonight willstart at 7 at the Sibley East Elementary School in Gaylord.  The second meeting will be Thursday at 7 in the middle school/high school in Arlington.  An additional meeting is planned for early October in Green Isle.  The school board is asking the districts to approve an operating referendum to allow for a reduction in class sizes, ensure continuation of current programming and possibly bring back some programs and courses that have been reduced.  Everyone is invited to attend these meetings.
