SLEEPY EYE HOUSE FIRE VICTIM REHBEIN DIES

The Sleepy Eye Police Department was informed Tuesday evening that Katie Rehbein has died as a result of injuries she sustained in a house fire in Sleepy Eye May 8.  Rehbein and her 3-year-old son were both taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with critical injuries.  The three-year-old remains in critical condition.  Four others, one adult and three kids were treated and released from the Sleepy Eye Medical Center.   A cause is still being investigated.
