SNOWPLOW INVOLVED IN CRASH NEAR NICOLLET

The state patrol was called to a three-vehicle crash involving a snowplow Thursday morning at 8:32.  Authorities say the plow was stopped on eastbound Highway 14 in Nicollet Township for a prior crash.  A Lincoln was also eastbound stopped behind the plow.  A semi collided with the vehicles.  The semi was driven by 60-year-old Dennis Goblirsch of Redwood Falls.  He was taken to  MCHS Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.  The plow and SUV drivers weren’t hurt.   The road was snow and ice covered.   Nicollet Fire Department, Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
