Softball and Baseball Results: Thursday, April 24th

 

It’s eight in a row for the Morris/Chokio-Alberta Girls Softball team the Tigers picked up 12-0 win over Benson in five innings on Thursday night. For the Tigers, Sam Konz went 4 for 4, pickup 4 RBI’s, and scored once. Second baseman for the Tigers Lauren Hottovy went 3 for 4, and scored 4 times. Brenna Jergenson hit a triple bringing two Tigers in she went 1 for 1, had 2 RBI’s, and scored once.

Pitching for the Tigers in 5 innings Nora Boyle gave up 1 hit, struck out 8 for the win. Morris/C-A is now 8-0 and will travel to Montevideo today for a doubleheader the first pitch at 4:00 p.m.
