Softball, Baseball, Track and Field Results: Tuesday, May 6th

 

Girls Softball 

Morris/Chokio-Alberta Girls Softball team gets back on winning ways by beating Melrose 7-1 on Tuesday. Tigers were led by Lauren Hottovy, she went 3 for 4, had 4 RBI’s, scored a run, and stolen a base.

Haley Kill pitching for the Tigers went 7 innings gave up 1 hit, struck out 10 for the win.

Tigers are 12-1 will host Sauk Centre on Thursday, May 8th at 5:00 p.m. Tigers then travel to  Minnewaska on Friday, May 9th for a doubleheader starting at 4:00 p.m.

Boys Baseball 

Morris/Chokio-Alberta Boys Baseball Team picked up win number fourteen. Tigers won 9-4 over Melrose at home on Tuesday, May 6th. Tigers are 8-0 in the conference and 14-0 overall. Up next Tigers are in Benson on Thursday, May 8th for a doubleheader starting at 4:00 p.m.
