ST. JAMES RAILROAD DAYS PARADE CANCELLED

The extreme heat has claimed at least one event this weekend.  The Railroad Days committee in St. James says the parade scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled.  The committee says they have been in contact with the National Weather Service and local EMS.  The parade will not be rescheduled.  If you had a parade unit and made a donation to participate in the parade, you will not have to pay the entry fee for 2026’s parade.   There are many other events going on this weekend in St. James including the Fire Department Dance Saturday night starting at 8 pm in the fairgrounds.   It’s also Friendship Days in Nicollet with many events going on through Sunday.
