St. Thomas falls at Washington State

(Pullman, WA/Minnesota News Network) — The St. Thomas men’s basketball team lost at Washington State last night 81-71, falling to 1-2 on the season. The Tommies never led in the game and trailed at the half 50-30. St. Thomas outscored W-S-U in the second half 41-31. Tommies’ redshirt freshman Nick Janowski led the way with 22 points. St. Thomas is hosting Green Bay on Thursday night at 7 P-M. The visiting Phoenix will remain in town to take on the Golden Gophers on Saturday night.
