St Thomas Mens BB beats North Dakota

(St. Paul, MN) — The St. Thomas men’s basketball team set a program record with by registering its 21st win of the season last night, beating North Dakota 86-71. The Tommies are now 21-9 overall and 11-4 in the Summit League. The win total is the most for the program since it turned Division I four seasons ago. St. Thomas guard Miles Barnstable scored a game-high 23 points followed by 17 by Carter Bjerke and near double-doubles from Kendall Blue and Ben Oosterbaan. The visiting Fighting Hawks slipped to 11-19 overall and 5-10 in the conference. St. Thomas closes out the regular season on Saturday night when it hosts Kansas City at 7:30 P-M at Schoenecker Arena in St. Paul. A win would give the Tommies a perfect 14-0 home record this season.
