St Thomas WBB gets the win over Omaha

(St. Paul, MN) — The St. Thomas women’s basketball team knocked off Omaha last night 75-62, improving to 13-10 on the season. The Tommies never trailed in the game and now sit at 5-5 in the Horizon League. Junior guard Amber Scalia of Stillwater led the way with 20 points, eclipsing the 1000-part mark in her career. The visiting Mavericks dipped to 9-14 overall and 1-9 in the conference. St. Thomas will next play at Denver on Saturday at noon. Meanwhile, the St. Thomas men’s basketball team will visit South Dakota State tonight at 7 P-M.
