St. Thomas Womens BB gets the win

(St. Paul, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The St. Thomas women’s basketball team beat Oral Roberts last night 71-66 in St. Paul. The Tommies were led by sophomore forward Alyssa Sand of Albany with 15 points and 15 rebounds. St. Thomas improved to 12-13 overall and 5-6 in the Summit League. The visiting Golden Eagles slipped to 12-12 overall and 5-6 in the league. The Tommies are next in action on Saturday hosting Omaha at 1 P-M. Meanwhile, the St. Thomas men’s basketball team is at Omaha tonight at 7 P-M.
