State Patrol Says Alcohol Was A Factor In Roundabout Crash

One person was injured after crashing at a Douglas County roundabout Tuesday in Alexandria. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Michael Murphy, (66) of Alexandria, had been consuming alcohol before he crashed the 2020 Chevy Silverado he was driving just before 8:30pm. He was taken to Alomere Health in Alexandria and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. 

He was wearing a seat-belt at the time of the crash.
