State Patrol Says Alcohol Was A Factor In Single Vehicle Accident

A Grand Forks man was injured in a single vehicle accident over the weekend in Clearwater County. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol alcohol appears to have been a factor. 

Kaiden Tyler Francis, (20) was injured when the southbound 2013 Nissan Frontier he was driving left Highway 92 at milepost 58 in Copley Township. Sgt. Jesse Grabow says Francis lost control of the vehicle and struck some trees after entering the east ditch just before 11pm Saturday. 

Francis was taken to the ER in Bagley and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. Francis was wearing a seat-belt. Road conditions were listed as “dry”.
