State Patrol Says Alcohol Was A Factor In Wrong Way Crash

An Ennis, Texas woman was killed by an apparent wrong way driver over the weekend in Clay County. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Jennifer Elizabeth Watson (43) was killed when the southbound 2022 Jeep Compass she was driving collided head-on with a 2007 Toyota Tundra driven by Christopher Pink (28) of Moorhead. 

According to the State Patrol Report, Pink was traveling north in the southbound lane of Highway 75 when the vehicles crashed just before 7pm on Saturday. 

Officials say Pink had been consuming alcohol prior to the crash.
