Stearns County Fire

Fire destroyed a shed and its contents in Stearns County Wednesday evening in Mllwood Township east of Melrose.

The Sheriff’s Office says at just before 7:30pm, they received a report of the fire in the 38000 Block of Thunder Road.

When deputies arrived on scene, they saw that there was heavy smoke coming from inside the shed and heavy fire damage to several parts of the shed.

The shed and several pieces of equipment in the shed, including a skid loader, were considered a total loss.

The property owner was not home at the time and the cause is under investigation.
