Stearns County Shooting Investigation

Authorities in Stearns County are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday in Belgrade.

At about noon, the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a female saying that her son had shot someone.

When officers arrived, they identified a male victim who had been shot multiple times. He was ultimately taken to HCMC for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

A 44-year-old Belgrade man was taken into custody and is being held pending charges.
