Stevens County Reviews Conditional Use Application

The Stevens County Planning Commission will review an application for Conditional Use from Leonard Wulf & Sons Inc. of Morris at their next regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the Stevens County Courthouse. A Wulf representative will make a presentation of the proposed project, and there will be a chance for public comment before Commission action. The application to expand an existing feedlot from 5,236.7 animal units to 6,226.7 animal units by adding 990 head of beef cattle will be reviewed in accordance with Sections of the Stevens County Zoning Ordinance. No new construction or expansion of the feedlot area is planned. The existing feedlot property is located in three different sections of Horton Township in Stevens County.
