Stolen Dog in Sibley County Back Home

A dog that was reported stolen in Sibley County is back with its owner.

The Sheriff’s Office says on Sunday, they received a report of the stolen dog that had been missing from a rural Henderson residence since Thursday of last week (Aug 7).

It was learned that a neighbor sighted the dog in a FedEx truck.

Authorities say a follow up investigation was done with FedEx to locate the driver and the dog was taken back into custody and reunited with its owner.

The case has been submitted to the Sibley County Attorney’s Office for charges.
