Suspect Arrested After Firebombs Target Minneapolis Ice Cream Shop
(Learfield News/Minneapolis, MN) — A suspect is in custody after firebombs were thrown at a Minneapolis ice cream shop twice in less than 15 hours.
Fletcher’s Ice Cream and Cafe was hit around 10:45 p.m. Sunday and again at 1 p.m. Monday, causing damage but no injuries.
Owner Jason Fletcher suspects the attacks may be tied to a Pride flag displayed on the building.
Police say the same person is believed responsible for both incidents.
The shop plans to reopen today (Tues).
