Suspect Arrested/Charged in Sibley County Burglaries
An Anoka man has been arrested and charged after three reported burglaries Monday in Sibley County.
The Sheriff’s Office says they received a report around 4 am of a burglary alarm at the Backwoods Bar in New Auburn. Deputies responded and saw that two males had made forcible entry into the bar but nothing had been taken.
Later that morning, deputies found an open door at the Dugout Bar in Arlington and found it had been burglarized and cash was taken. The La Villita Restaurant next door also was burglarized.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office notified Sibley County that one of the suspects was arrested in Anoka County.
Sixty-one-year-old James Irving Dale was later transported to the Sibley County jail and has been charged with three counts of second degree burglary.
The investigation continues.
