Suspect in Custody After Stealing Vehicle in Otter Tail County

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says a man suspected of stealing a vehicle at knifepoint is in custody. Deputies were asking the public to be on the lookout for an attempted homicide suspect Saturday morning in the Dalton area.

There was an extensive ground and air search for the man considered armed and dangerous and residents were asked to shelter in place.

Authorities say the suspect was later apprehended but haven’t released any other information about the incident.
