T-Wolves Hammer Warriors; Even Series

(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — Anthony Edwards avoided a scare and returned to action to help the Timberwolves beat the Warriors 117-93 to even up the series at a game apiece. Edwards left the game late in the first half but returned and ended up with 20 points in the victory. After a dismal start to Game 1 the Wolves responded by jumping out to a 13-0 lead to open the contest and really never look back. Julius Randle led Minnesota with 24 points while Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 20 off the bench. Stephen Curry did not play due to a hamstring injury but still got contributions from Jonathan Kuminga who had 18 points and Jimmy Butler who chipped in 17. With the series tied 1-1 the action shifts to San Francisco for Game 3 on Saturday night for a 7:30 P-M tip at Chase Center
