Target Field to host Banana Ball next year
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The Minnesota Twins today proudly announced that the “Greatest Show in Sports” – the Savannah Bananas – will play three games at Target Field the weekend of August 7-9, 2026. All three games will feature the Bananas vs. the Loco Beach Coconuts as part of the highly-anticipated 2026 Banana Ball World Tour.
The push to bring Banana Ball to Target Field was spearheaded by the Twins in partnership with the Minneapolis Tourism Improvement District and Meet Minneapolis, along with collaboration from Minnesota Sports and Events (MNSE). This three-game series marks the Savannah Bananas’ first-ever appearances in Minnesota, with Minneapolis among 71 cities chosen from a pool of more than 200 applicants to host a 2026 Banana Ball World Tour stop. Target Field is one of 11 Major League Baseball stadiums set to welcome the Bananas next year.
The Savannah Bananas have captured the hearts of fans around the globe with their innovative and captivating approach to America’s pastime. Their entertaining, family-friendly and fun-loving brand of “Banana Ball” features a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs, batters stealing first base, choreographed dance routines, epic celebrations and much more.

Tickets for the Savannah Bananas are lottery-based, and fans who are interested in attending their three games at Target Field from August 7-9, 2026 should visit bananaball.com/tickets now through October 31, 2025 and join the Ticket Lottery List for an opportunity to purchase tickets.
2026 MyTwins Members will receive access to a limited-opportunity, priority pre-sale for all three games at a future date, but are encouraged to also enter the Bananas’ Ticket Lottery. Target Field Annual Suite Holders and Champions Club Members will receive communication directly from the Twins with information on how to reserve their spot.
