Teen Driver Injured In Deadly T-Bone Collision

One person is dead following a collision Wednesday morning in eastern North Dakota. 

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Curtis Flexhaug, (66) of Hatton was killed when the northbound 1998 Buick Riviera he was driving was t-boned on Highway 18, around 5 miles east of Northwood. Officials say an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado struck the Buick while attempting to cross the Highway. The driver of the pickup, a 16-year-old male, was transported by ambulance to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Flexhaug was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Neither of the drivers were wearing seat-belts at the time of the crash reported  just after 9:30am. 

The crash is under investigation.
