Teen Fatally Shot in Willmar

(Learfield News/KWLM/Willmar, MN) A teen was shot to death in Willmar Monday night.

At 11pm, police received a call of shots fired in the 1800 block of 7th Avenue SE.

On arrival, officers located an unresponsive juvenile male. Medical attention was provided, but the juvenile was declared dead at the scene.

The area was secured, interviews were conducted, and the scene was processed.

Authorities say it does not appear to be a random act and the public is not in danger.
