Teen Injured in Stearns County Snowmobile Crash

An Albany teenager was injured in a Stearns County snowmobile crash Thursday afternoon in Oak Township.

The Sheriff’s Office says 13-year-old Brayden Hinnenkamp was traveling southbound following another snowmobile when the left ski of his sled hit a rock. Hinnenkamp lost control of the snowmobile causing his left leg to hit a right of way sign.

He was taken to the Melrose Hospital for treatment.

The crash happened shortly after 3pm.
