There’s No Stopping Shaboozey

“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey is now tied for the most weeks at #1 in the history of the Billboard Hot 100.  “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus also had 19 weeks at #1 back in 2019.

Shaboozey said that country music “resonates really strongly with him.”  But he also said, “I love hip-hop.  And I’m part of their
community, too.  That’s what I want to do with my music .  Be disruptive and show people that music is progressing.”
