Thin Ice Warning on Lake Marion

McLeod County officials are warning that abnormally thin ice conditions have been reported on the west and southwest areas of Lake Marion.

The area is across the lake from the aeration area.

The Sheriff’s Office asks that you use caution when traveling on the lake with a vehicle and stay away from that area, in addition to the other areas posted with thin ice signs.
