Thomas Morgan, age 78 of St. Peter passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at North Memorial Hospital, Robbinsdale.

Memorial visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at St. Peter Funeral Home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, St. Peter. To leave a condolence for the family, visit www.saintpeterfuneralhome.com.

Thomas Lynn was born to John and Freda (Gierke) Morgan. He attended St. Peter Schools, graduating with a unique class in 1964.He attended Mankato State, graduating with a BS in Mathematics in 1968. He student taught in Springfield, and his first teaching position was at Waldorf Pemberton. He then moved to Zuni New Mexico where he taught for 3 years. while there he received his Master in Mathematics from the University of New Mexico. He then returned to Minnesota, and worked at Control Data Corporation for a year.  He taught at New Ulm Cathedral, Henderson, Sherburn, Jordan, and Butterfield Odin. In 1983 he was diagnosed with cancer and cut back to substitute teaching for many years. Tom was a kids wrestling coach for over 50 years and also taught computer classes in the area. He was a true collector of both real and toy cars and trucks and was a member of local, state, and national clubs. He was active in organizing many local car shows and events. His big “claim to fame” was when the show American Pickers highlighted the Morgandome in the spring of 2011.

Left to remember Tom are his twin brother Steve; brother John and his children Missy and Mike; sister Sandra Pufpaff and her children Mike and Chris; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law Kenneth Pufpaff; and sister-in-law Agnes Morgan.
