THREE INDUCTED INTO ISD 88 HALL OF FAME

ISD 88 inducted three new members into its Hall of Fame Tuesday during the Eagles Extravaganza.  Former math teacher and coach James Pearson, Dr. Amy Malecki Rogers who set state records on the Academic Decathalon team and was one of three Minnesota High School seniors in 1987 named a U.S Presidential Scholar.  Also going in was 1998 graduate Brian Schmidt who has become a Grammy-nominated conductor, founded the South Dakota Chorale,  and founded and directed the Baylor International Choral Conducting Masterclass and Young Artist Program at Baylor University.  His parents, Denny and JoAnn Schmidt accepted on his behalf.
