Three Injured in Kandiyohi Co Crash

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Kandiyohi County Wednesday morning north of Willmar.

The State Patrol says the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 71 and 60th Avenue NE.

The Patrol says 30-year-old Kaitlyn Rice of Willmar and her 8-year-old passenger were taken to Willmar Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, 40-year-old Daniel Thyen of Cold Spring, was also taken to Willmar Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened just before 7am.
