Timberwolves Await Second Round Opponent

(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves will enjoy a few days off as they wait to figure out who they’ll be playing in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. Minnesota is coming off a 4-1 First Round win over the Los Angeles Lakers, and they’ll play the winner of Houston and Golden State’s playoff series. The Warriors lead 3-2 with Game Six tipping off in San Francisco tonight. If the Rockets win, Game Seven will be in Houston on Sunday. Tickets for three more potential playoff games at Target Center go on sale today at noon. The Wolves advanced to the second round by beating the Lakers 103-96 in Game Five Wednesday night in L-A. Golden State has a 3-2 lead over Houston and can close out the first-round series with victory tonight in San Francisco.
