Timberwolves Pick Up a Christmas Day Win
(Dallas, TX) — The Minnesota Timberwolves averted disaster by pulling away from the Dallas Mavericks during a
105-99 yesterday. The Wolves led by as many as 28 points in the third quarter before the Mavericks stormed back
to get back within one possession late in the fourth quarter. However, Anthony Edwards drove to the rim and put in a
lay-up to put the game out of reach. Edwards finished with 26 points in the victory, while Julius Randle added 23
points and ten rebounds. The Wolves improved to 15-14. They visit the Rockets tomorrow night.
