TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS ON SLEEPY EYE LAKE

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of at least two ice houses going through the ice on Sleepy Eye Lake and one being blown across the lake.  Because of this, Chief Deputy Andrew Konechne says all vehicle traffic is restricted on Sleepy Eye Lake due to unsafe ice conditions and open water…

The restrictions are for all vehicles – trucks, cars, ATVs and snowmobiles The Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report this (Wednesday) morning of at least two fish.  The Sheriff’s Office is going to continue to monitor ice conditions and will once again allow traffic once ice conditions are deemed safe.
