TRF Man and Passenger Injured In Single Vehicle Accident

Two people were injured in a single vehicle accident Wednesday in Red Lake County. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Keric William Carpenter, (23) of Thief River Falls was injured when the northbound 2001 Buick Park Avenue he was driving left 340th Avenue Southeast and flipped multiple times, eventually coming to rest in the northbound ditch near 200th Street Southeast in Equality Township. 

Carpenter and a passenger in the vehicle were taken to Thief River Falls Sanford and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. Neither were wearing seat-belts at the time of the accident reported just before 10:30pm. 

Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
