Trump Administration to Brief Congress on Operation Epic Fury
(Learfield News/Washington, DC) — The Trump administration is going to brief Congress today (Mon) on the airstrikes the U.S. and Israel launched against Iran.
The attacks have led to a wider conflict in the Middle East.
U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar said, “the Administration has still not laid out a strategic plan or path forward. The American people deserve answers.”
Senator Tina Smith is pushing for a vote on a war powers resolution, but it’s not expected to pass the Republican-controlled House and Senate.
At least six U.S. service members have been killed in “Operation Epic Fury.”
