“Tunnel to Towers 9/11 Never Forget” Mobile Museum at McLeod County Fair

This year’s McLeod County Fair in Hutchinson will be the site of a special mobile museum that travels the country, making limited stops.

The “Tunnel to Towers 9/11 Never Forget” mobile museum will be set up just east of the grandstand and will be there during the fair’s four-day run from Thursday through Sunday.

Project Coordinator Dave Skoog says the huge truck will be escorted through downtown Hutchinson this afternoon (Wednesday) at 2pm.

The truck will be traveling west on Highway 7, then south of Main Street to Airport Road, and then pulling into the fairground’s south entrance.

Skoog says it includes four firemen/first responders who were at the twin towers when they came down that are traveling with the museum and will be providing first-hand information about their experiences.
