Twins Beat A’s
(Minnesota News Network- Sacramento, CA) — Minnesota’s Willi Castro hit a pair of home runs as the Twins beat the Athletics 10-3 last night in Sacramento. Castro’s second long-ball of the game put Minnesota up for good in the sixth inning. Trevor Larnach also went deep, while Pablo Lopez earned the win after allowing two runs on four hits in five innings. Lopez left the game with shoulder soreness. The Twins are in second place in the A-L Central at 33-27. Jacob Lopez was charged with his fourth loss out of the bullpen. The A’s are on an eight-game losing streak and sit at 23-39. Game three of the four-game series is tonight at 9:05 P-M.
