Twins double up Rays
(Tampa, FL/Minnesota News Network) — Carlos Correa had three hits and a run as the Twins edged the Rays 4-2 on Tuesday night in Tampa. Kody Clemens hit his fifth homer in the second inning to help propel Minnesota to the win to stop a brief two game slide and improve to 30-24 on the season. Joe Ryan (5-2) got the win on six innings of work giving up five hits, walking one batter and striking out five. The two teams will meet again this afternoon for the rubbermatch at 12:05 P-M.
