Twins Drop Opener In Houston
The Houston Astros beat the Minnesota Twins on Friday night in Texas, 10-3. Minnesota starter Chris Paddack gave up nine runs on 12 hits in four innings pitched. Houston built up an 8-0 lead before the Twins got on the board on a solo homer by Willi Castro. Royce Lewis was taken out of the game with a hamstring injury in the ninth inning. Manager Rocco Baldelli says the team will know more about the severity of Lewis’s injury on Saturday.
