Twins Fall At Home, Swept By A’s
(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins are on a three-game losing streak following an 8-3 loss to the Athletics at Target Field yesterday. The Twins surrendered six runs in the top of the second and trailed the rest of the way. Jose Urena was charged with his first loss after allowing six runs on seven hits in five frames. The A’s swept the Twins and improved to 59-70 with wins in six of their past eight games. Minnesota is in fourth place in the AL Central, dipping to 58-69 on the year. Zebby Matthews starts for the Twins against the White Sox tonight in Chicago at 6:40 P-M.
